C2 – Business Single Entry Visa (60 Days)

The C2 Business Single Entry Visa (formerly known as B211A) is designed for foreign nationals who intend to conduct non-employment business activities in Indonesia. This visa is ideal for professionals or entrepreneurs who need to attend meetings, conduct market research, negotiate contracts, or explore business opportunities without engaging in paid work.


Duration & Extension

  • Initial Stay: Up to 60 days from the date of arrival.

  • Extension: Can be extended twice, each for another 60 days, allowing a maximum stay of up to 180 days in total.

  • Visa Validity: Must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days of issuance.

Permitted Activities

With a C2 Business Visa, you are allowed to:

  • Attend business meetings, discussions, or market visits.

  • Conduct inspections or purchase goods at offices, factories, or production sites.

  • Negotiate and sign business contracts.

You are not allowed to:

  • Engage in any paid work or employment in Indonesia.

  • Receive income or salary from any Indonesian company or individual.

  • Re-enter Indonesia once you leave, as this is a single-entry visa.


Requirements

Applicants generally need to prepare:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

  • A recent passport-size photograph (white background).

  • Bank statement showing a minimum balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent for the past 3 months.

  • Sponsorship letter from an Indonesian company or agency (if required).

  • Proof of onward or return ticket and accommodation details in Indonesia.


Extension Procedure

  • Applications must be submitted 10–14 days before the visa expires.

  • Applicants are required to attend the immigration office for biometric data collection (photo and fingerprints).

  • After two extensions (maximum 180 days), holders must leave Indonesia as further onshore extensions are not permitted.


Important Notes

  • Overstaying a visa incurs a fine of IDR 1,000,000 per day.

  • This visa is strictly for business-related, non-employment activities.

  • If you intend to work in Indonesia and earn income, you must apply for a work visa (KITAS).
