The Representative Office (KPPA) must be registered and approved by BKPM (Ministry of Investment) before the visa can be processed.

The representative cannot engage in profit-generating activities (e.g., direct trading, manufacturing, or contracting).

The visa is tied to the Representative Office license. If the office closes, the visa becomes invalid.
